Earthquake in BiH kills One Young Woman

The first victim of last night’s earthquake in Herzegovina is young womanborn in 1994, it was confirmed for BHRT from the Cantonal Hospital dr. Safet Mujic.

The doctor on duty at the surgery confirmed for the BHRT portal that the parents and sister of the deceased were slightly injured and are currently in hospital.

By the way, several people were injured in the area of ​​Herzegovina yesterday night after a strong earthquake.

At least two people were injured in the aftermath of tonight’s earthquake near Stolac, the Civil Service in Stolac confirmed to BHRT, and another reported to the Stolac Health Center. Several other people were slightly injured in Ljubinje.

In a conversation with the duty officer in the civil service in Stolac, it was confirmed to BHRT that these were two people, a man and a woman, who suffered injuries of an undetermined degree and were sent to the hospital in Mostar.

The injured were in Uzinovici in the Kukavac area.

The director of the Stolac Health Center, Kazimir Raguz, confirmed to BHRT that they had received one seriously injured patient and were working on his care. They also say that they had a few more minor interventions.

Let us remind you, an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale hit the area around Stolac and Ljubinje yesterday night.

Material damage was reported in several places and cities throughout Herzegovina.
