Earthquake registered in Sarajevo Today

A weaker earthquake was registered in the area of Sarajevo today, the Hydrometeorological Institute of the Federation of BiH stated today.

At 14.58, the devices at the Center for Seismology registered an earthquake whose magnitude in the hypocenter was three degrees on the Richter scale, and the intensity in the epicenter was four degrees on the Mercalli scale.

The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center announced that the epicenter of the earthquake was 16 kilometers northeast of Sarajevo, at a depth of five kilometers.

This morning at 9:01 am, Bosnia and Herzegovina was hit by another earthquake, and according to the EMSC, the epicenter was near Omarska near Prijedor.

The quake had a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale.

The earthquake was also felt in Banja Luka.
