Easter Chess Cup on 24 and 25 April in Banja Luka

chessCentre for Promotion of Chess ‘Gambit’ from Banja Luka is organising yet another chess event for students on the occasion of Easter, reports Nezavisne novine

The competition is made of two parts: qualification tournament and final match.

Qualification tournament is open and students of all generations can participate and it will be held on 24 April (Wednesday) from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Soriso restaurant. Competitors will be split into two groups and will play 7 rounds in accordance with Swiss system.

Students can apply via forms at http://www.chessgambit.net by 23 April.

Final match will be played on 25 April (Thursday) and finalists will play 4 matches with 2 different game tempos.

The organisers have prepared special surprise awards, as well as special awards for the best placed student.
