Edin Dzeko Receives New Offer, Set to Leave Fiorentina?

Every day brings a new story about the future of Edin Dzeko (39), and the latest information is coming from Italy.

Italian media write that Cagliari has become a new club interested in the services of the Bosnian striker, who has already been in the focus of the Serie A market for some time.

The reason for the interest is clear. Cagliari has been left almost without attacking solutions. Andrea Belotti has been out since September due to a ligament injury, and his season is over, while winger Felici has also suffered a serious injury.

Coach Fabio Pisacane practically has only Esposito and Borrelli at his disposal, who together have scored just six goals in the league.

Earlier, Italian media reported that Fiorentina is ready to let Dzeko go as early as January in the event of a good offer, while another Italian media outlet stated that the Diamond may be closest to a move to Genoa, where the coach is his friend and former teammate Daniele De Rossi.

In the standings, Cagliari (15th) and Genoa (16th) are level on points, while Fiorentina is in a serious crisis and without a single victory in the season so far.
