Efficient detection and prosecution of all criminal offences that could endanger the health and safety of citizens and are linked with the prevention of and protection from the spreading of the Coronavirus – COVID-19 is of utmost importance, as we have seen that irresponsible and unlawful behavior of individuals can cause unfathomable damage to citizens.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with its partner institutions and law enforcement agencies with which it cooperates, keeps following the developments from its jurisdiction related to the perpetration of criminal offenses that could endanger the health and safety of citizens.

Prosecution of criminal offenses that fall within the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and relate to endangering the health and safety of citizens will have priority in our work and will be treated as urgent, especially in cases where the perpetrators are official persons.

Unlawful and irresponsible behavior of official persons and individuals can cause unfathomable damage, and it is important that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all other competent prosecutor’s offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina, prosecute such perpetrators without any delay.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina invites all citizens to report to the competent institutions any case of non-compliance with the decisions of the competent institutions, as well as any case of irresponsible and unlawful behavior so that the consequences of such crimes could be prevented.
