According to unofficial information, the first group of eight citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been evacuated from Iran and are currently in Turkey. Among them is the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to this country, Nijaz Čardaklija.

As a reminder, the evacuation began yesterday, after the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina ordered the closure of embassies in Iran and Israel at an emergency session.

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina states that, according to currently available information from the embassies of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Tehran and Tel Aviv, there is no information about injured or killed citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in these two countries.
