Due to the escalation of the conflict between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina is closely monitoring the security situation in the affected regions.

The statement states that according to the currently available information from the Embassies of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Tehran and Tel Aviv, there is no information about any injured or killed citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Tehran has made contact with six citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while the Embassy in Tel Aviv has been contacted by two of our citizens. All of them have been provided with full consular support and assistance in safely leaving the territory of Iran and Israel.

The Ministry urges all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who are in the affected areas to contact the nearest diplomatic or consular mission or the Ministry’s hotline:

+387 61 168 100 (available 24/7, including via WhatsApp and Viber applications)

They call on BiH citizens to regularly monitor the official communication channels of the Ministry and the BiH embassies, and to avoid moving in risk zones while the security instability persists.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains in constant contact with relevant international partners in order to, if necessary, enable timely and safe evacuation of citizens, the statement said, among other things.
