The Sarajevo Elementary School “Meša Selimović” received a bomb placed threat again this morning, and the students were evacuated, confirmed for BHRT the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, Mersiha Novalić.
Novalić stated that the school received an information via email a little before eight o’clock, and that immediately after the report, a special team of the Interior Ministry of the Canton Sarajevo went to the field and a counter-sabotage inspection is underway.
Also, the duty prosecutor of the CS Prosecutor’s Office was informed about everything.
This is the fourth time that this school has received a bomb report.
Lately, there have been frequent reports of bombs in Sarajevo Canton, both in educational and judicial institutions. All reports so far have been false.
Also, the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Interior recently identified and arrested two people on suspicion of sending false reports about bombs at the International University in Sarajevo, and the criminal investigation against them is ongoing.
