Seventeen years old Ella Jovanović was discharged from the Sarajevo General Hospital for home treatment after a successful recovery process following a tram accident that occurred in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina on February 12.

On this occasion, Jovanović posed for a photo with the hospital staff and director Ismet Gavrankapetanović in front of the General Hospital.

“The patient is being discharged for home treatment. The rehabilitation and full recovery program continues with further consultation procedures coordinated with the best centers abroad,” the General Hospital told Klix.ba.

On the occasion of her successful recovery at the General Hospital, Ella also received a cake as a gift.

After the serious accident, Jovanović was transferred to semi-intensive care on February 19 after surgery and the first phase of the recovery process, and on February 28 to the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, where she has been until today.

For weeks now, numerous citizens have been leaving messages of support for Ella outside the hospital, and the girl has also received messages of support from the Catholic School Center she attends.
