BH actor Emir Hadzihafizbegovic is the winner of Grand Pirx for the best actor at the 43rd International Movie Festival “Fest“ that is being held from 28th February to 8th March in Belgrade.
The award will be officially handed to Hadzihafizbegovic tonight in the SAVA Center in Belgrade, confirmed the actor for “Oslobodjenje“.
The jury of the official program of this year’s “Fest“ consisted of Neda Arneric (president), Srdjan Dragojevic, Deborah Kara Unger, Maja Milos, Giuseppe Picioni, Ellen Kuras and Liu Jie chose Hadzihafizbegovic for the best actor in a competition of 15 movies from all over the world.
Hadzihafizbegovic won this award for the role in Croatian movie “The rules“, directed by Ognjen Svilicic. Last year, Hadzihafizbegovic won the Golden Lion at the Venice film festival for the same role.
The movie “The rules“ talks about 50-year-ol taxi driver Ivo, his middle-aged wife Maja who is a housewife and suffers from high blood pressure and their son Tomica, high school senior. The family lives peacefully, in no way remarkable life, until one day Tomica came home beaten.
