An employee of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service, fifty-four years old Dzebrail Sisic Sile, died in the isolation ward in Podhrastovi due to complications caused by Covid-19 infection. He fought the coronavirus in the isolation ward for more than 10 days.

Doctors amputated his leg last night, due to thrombosis, and he was in very difficult health condition.

Unfortunately, Sisic lost the battle.

“A medical worker, born in 1966, died last night, with perhaps the most difficult picture we have seen so far. He was completely healthy, he played sports. We have another almost identical patient with a severe clinical picture,” said Sebija Izetbegovic, Director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS).
