Representatives of the Feroelektro union gathered today in front of the building of Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecution Office that through a peaceful protest to point the reaction of this Prosecution on the “countless” criminal charges against the majority shareholder Goran Stanić, but also as has been said on this occasion, the Prosecution is to blame as the Feroelektro lost its property in Zenica.
“First of all, we are today here in front of the Cantonal Prosecution Office in Sarajevo to directly blame this office that Feroelektro has lost its properties in Zenica. So, a year ago Financial Police has pressed charges against Feroelektro Board, which has enabled Privredna Bank in Sarajevo to procure unlawful pecuniary gain of 1.66 million BAM. Goran Stanić, who still according to the contract is obliged to return the loan, did not return it and Privredna Bank, although illegal, got a mortgage, activated it and took over our facility of 14.000 square meters in Zenica, and 15 our employees were left without working places”, said the President of Feroelektra Union Senad Smajić.
President of the Federation of Independent Unions of B&H Ismet Bajramović, who came today to support workers of the Feroelektro said that Cantonal Prosecution Office has done nothing by the findings of the Financial Police on frauds within Feroelektro and that the union of this company is in the position that not only to fight for termination of the contract but also against the bankruptcy and some types of redundancy.
“We expect that the Prosecution to eventually come to the termination of the contract on privatization and that Feroelektra to return to its original condition. Feroelektra union has the full support of the B&H Union because they are our members”, said Bajramović.
