The 8th International Fair of Energy, Mining, Environmental Protection and Supporting Industries ENERGA 2018, which starts today and will last until June 21, will turn Sarajevo into energy center of the region for the second year in a row.

According to the director of ENERGA 2018, Zlatko Alidzanovic, ENERGA will gather more than 100 exhibitors from 11 countries, as well as more than 200 participants within the conference part of the fair. Therefore, it is listed as one of the most important business events in BiH, as well as the region.

“According to the topics and panellists, this year’s ENERGA fair prepared a very strong conference content,” said Alidzanovic.

This year, a special emphasis was placed on energy and climate policies in BiH, and panel of discussions and sessions will address the following topics: establishment of an organized market of electricity in BiH, modular systems of remote heating and cooling on the basis of renewable energy, security of gas supply in BiH, potentials for the improvement of energy and resource efficiency in industry, etc.

A novelty in the comparison to previous editions of ENERGA fair are business meetings of companies ENERGA b2b, which will be held on the first day of the fair, and which are aimed to support BH companies in finding international partners at the fair.

Companies that will take part in the meetings are mostly from the energy, mining, construction and metal sectors and they will have the opportunity to attend meetings with different companies, which will result in some concrete jobs in the future period.
