taylor2English referee Anthony Taylor will be the main referee in the qualifying match for the European Championship in France, which the National team of B&H will play on Tuesday against Cyprus in Nicosia.

Taylor is 36 years old and he is working as referee since 2002. He was working in the lower ranks of English football for 8 years, and he became a referee in the Premier League in 2010. Three years later, he started to work as referee under the badge of FIFA on the international matches. This year, he was the referee on the finals of the English League Cup between Chelsea and Tottenham at Wembley. Blues won with the score 2: 0.

He was also a referee on the match between Arsenal and Chelsea, which was played on the 7th of July at Wembley, when Arsenal won with the score 1: 0 and won the FA Community Shield.

He was called out because of his decision several times by the premier league managers, and the loudest were Sam Allardyce, David Moyes, Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers.

Taylor made a mistake last year in December, for which he publicly apologized. He showed a yellow card for feigning to Chelsea football player Cesc Fabregas in the match against Southampton, however the footage showed that the Spaniard was really fouled.

He was a referee in 113 matches in Premier League, and he showed 22 red and 383 yellow cards.

In the last 20 international matches, he assigned 5 penalties, 3 for the hosts and 2 for guests. He showed 4 red cards, 2 for the hosts and guests each. As for yellow cards, he showed a total of 51 card, 44 for host teams and 95 for the visitors.

Taylor’s assistants will be John Brooks, Lee Betts, Martin Atkinson and Robert Madley. The 4th referee will be Jake Collin.
