The exhibition “Masters of Engraving II – Rembrandt in Sarajevo” was opened on Wednesday at the Turkish Cultural Centre Yunus Emre in Sarajevo.
The owner of the exposed collection, painter and graphic artist Mehmed Bajrić, said that the exhibition has a great artistic significance, since the works of great masters of graphics like Rembrandt, Goya, Barocci, Carraccia and Hirohsige are exposed.
He explained that a total of 28 works tended mainly by the techniques of etching, aquatint and woodcut are exposed at this exhibition.
Bajrić said that there is an interest in setting up this exhibition in Tuzla and Zenica, and these are very likely to be organized.
The exhibition is open until May 6th.
