For the second time in B&H, the World Day of Storytelling will be marked, the international manifestation dedicated to oral storytelling.
Every year on the spring equinox, the World Day of Storytelling is marked that celebrates the art of storytelling. On this day, people all over the world tell and listen to stories, learning from each other, in several languages and in different places, during the day and evening.
This holiday is marked since 2003 in more than 25 countries on all continents, choosing each time the theme of a story. After birds, bridges, months, dreams, neighbors, lights, shadows, and trees, there came dragons and monsters.
‘’In cooperation with the Association ‘Baština’ from Rankovići, for the second time we are celebrating this holiday by telling folk tales and stories for children and adults by storytellers Božena Volić, Jelica Selak and Duška Rajić until 22 March in the Botanical Garden Association Baština in Rankovići near New Travnik starting at 14:00’’, said the organizers.
The campaign of World Day of Storytelling is held under the sponsorship of NDI and USAID.
