On the week of the 21-25 October, EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion travelled to Zenica to train alongside their partners in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina 5th Infantry Brigade, 1st Battalion.

Major Philip Michel of EUFOR said,

“The troops from the 5th Brigade 1st Battalion have been excellent training partners. I have seen a noticeable improvement in Peace Support Operation techniques from all participants throughout the week.” He added: “We have managed to achieve all our training goals and at the same time increase our ability to work together with international partners.”

This week’s training exercise is part of the “Training and Cooperation Plan 2019” which was agreed and signed by EUFOR and the AFBiH last year.
