The EUFOR Handover Ceremony will be held today at the Butmir Base in Sarajevo. Major General Laszlo Stic will hand over the duties of EUFOR Commander to Major General Florin Barbu.
The Head of the EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Luigi Soreca, and the Operational Commander of Operation Althea in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant General Hubert Cotro, will address the gathering.
High-ranking domestic and international dignitaries will also be present, EUFOR announced.
