EUFOR Deputy Commander, Brigadier General Bálint Legoza, visited the Tactical Support Brigade of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Rajlovac Barracks, where he was welcomed by Brigade Commander, Colonel Elvir Faljić.

The visit offered an opportunity to discuss the current security environment and review joint activities and training between EUFOR and AF BiH personnel. The exchange once again confirmed the strength of cooperation on the ground and its importance for maintaining stability.

Special attention was given to the Demining Battalion, whose work plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Brigadier General Legoza was briefed on their training programs and the tangible results achieved, including the significant areas of land cleared each year.

“The professionalism and dedication I have seen here today truly makes a difference for people across the country”

said Brigadier General Legoza.

Concluding his tour in Rajlovac Barracks, DCOM got valuable information about not just the Tactical Support Brigade and units under that brigade, but also, he got chance to visit the EUFOR Temporary Station Area, as well as surveying the modern military hospital located in this barracks.

He expressed his appreciation to all personnel and reaffirmed EUFOR’s continued commitment to supporting the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina remaining present, impartial, and ready to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all.
