Members of EUFOR’s Liaison and Observation Team House in Drvar contributed in the 13th Streetball Tournament, held in Drvar from 24 to 26 July 2026. Organised by Basketball Club Borac Drvar 1972, the event brought together young athletes, families and basketball supporters from the local community for three days of sporting competition.
Participants competed across several age categories, including Junior, Cadet, Pioneer, Younger Pioneer and Girls’ competitions. The tournament concluded on 26 July with the final matches and the popular Three-Point Shooting Contest. The participation of LOT House Drvar provided another opportunity for EUFOR personnel to engage directly with members of the local community and to support initiatives that promote teamwork, fair play and positive youth participation.
EUFOR Liaison and Observation Teams maintain regular contact with communities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, helping to strengthen mutual understanding and maintain close links between EUFOR and the local population.
Through continued engagement in local initiatives, EUFOR remains committed to building trust and supporting a safe and secure environment for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
