COMEUFOR, Major General Reinhard Trischak flew to Livno and Jablanica on Wednesday 23 October in order to visit the Liaison and Observation Team houses in those locations. Whilst at the houses he spoke with the Turkish soldiers who run them and gained valuable update briefings about the security situation in each of the regions.
In total there are 17 EUFOR Liaison and Observation Team houses in Bosnia and Herzegovina, manned by 7 different troop-contributing nations. Through this network of houses EUFOR can sense the situation on the ground and stay in contact with local communities.
