On 16 January 2020, COMEUFOR, Major General Reinhard Trischak, witnessed the Multinational Battalion (MNBN) conduct an exercise securing the weapon storage site (WSS) in Rajlovac against a fictitious, increased terrorist threat.

The aim of this exercise was to provide support to AF BiH to maintain the security and integrity of these WSS. The Turkish company of the MNBN established liaison with AFBiH and restored a safe and secure environment until full operational capability was established.

The exercise included some staged incidents; this offered the company a realistic and holistic exercise approach. COM MNBN, Lt Col Manfred Leitner said: “The company showed that they can report in the required time and had the possibility to improve their techniques and tactical procedure.”
