Over the past two days, EUFOR proudly participated in the Urban Kids Festival in Sarajevo, welcoming thousands of children and families to discover more about EUFOR’s mission through interactive games, educational activities, medical demonstrations, and mine awareness sessions.
Young visitors had the opportunity to meet members of EUFOR, learn important safety messages from our Joint Military Affairs (JMA) team, and explore military vehicles and equipment up close, a clear favourite among many children.
Opening the festival, EUFOR Commander Major General Maurizio Fronda highlighted the importance of community, friendship, inclusion, and cooperation, thanking the organisers and all those who helped make the event possible, it was stated by EUFOR.
