Yesterday, EUFOR soldiers conducted another exercise involving helicopters from this mission.

“The EUFOR aviation unit, consisting of Romanian and Italian helicopters, has intensified integration exercises with incoming troops, both day and night, in all weather conditions. These exercises include landings, medical evacuation drills, and transport operations,” EUFOR stated.

They emphasize that residents across Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)may notice increased helicopter activity, as flights are taking place throughout the country.

“Rest assured, these exercises ensure EUFOR pilots’ readiness to assist all citizens of BiH in emergency situations, even under the most extreme and challenging conditions,” EUFOR said.

It should be recalled that at the beginning of last week, Romanian soldiers from EUFOR’s reserve contingent arrived, followed shortly by Italian helicopters as part of EUFOR’s reinforcements.
