Over these two days, the military training area in Pazarić was the location of an EUFOR exercise focused on preparing the Multinational Battalion for the upcoming annual exercise “Quick Response 2026”.
The exercise was designed to test the ability of the Multinational Battalion to undertake complex and dynamic public order operations through dynamic and realistic scenarios. EUFOR soldiers from Italy, the Netherlands and Hungary faced multiple tasks and situations simultaneously, strengthening their coordination and operational effectiveness.
EUFOR regularly conducts training exercises to ensure that its forces remain ready and prepared in order to ensure safe and secure environment throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. This exercise served as an important step in preparing the Multinational Battalion for upcoming large scale annual exercise “Quick Response 2026”, during which EUFOR will further demonstrate its readiness and capability across Bosnia and Herzegovina, augmented by EUFOR’s Reserve Forces.
The training provided an opportunity to practice essential skills and to demonstrate the Multinational Battalion’s capability and readiness to support the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
