Euro-Asfalt and ŽGP completed 40 % of the Works on the Sarajevo Bypass Road

worksEmployees of companies Euro-Asfalt Ltd. Sarajevo and ŽGP Ltd. Sarajevo have so far successfully carried out around 40 % of the works on completing the construction of LOT 2A and LOT 2B at the Sarajevo bypass road, and according to adopted dynamics, the deadline for completion of all contracted works is by the 29th of February 2016, according to the statement of PE Roads of Federation of B&H.

Within the project LOT-2 of Sarajevo bypass are the following sections: LOT-2A, the Butila -Briješće loop with rondo Briješće, LOT-2B, Briješće-Stup and LOT-2C, Briješće: Safeta Zajke Street.

From the PE Roads of Federation of B&H are assessing that the agreed schedule of completion of all the works should not be questioned, and they praised contractors stating that “with their good organization, they are following the contracted schedule for the most part.”

“The works were continued on the construction of LOT 2A, and on the route from Butila loop to the beginning of the facility of viaduct Briješće, which is approximately 3 kilometers long, and on the construction of the span structure of the viaduct Briješće. Apart from these activities, we can conclude, that almost all the works on two separate roads on LOT-2B are completed as well, and their length is approximately 500 meters,” as said in the statement.

The owner and CEO of Euro – Asfalt Ltd. Hamed Ramić, said that the works are currently taking place on the construction of the viaduct Briješće in a length of 720 meters, and on the construction of rondo Briješće.

“Around 220 of our employees are engaged on this project, as well as 50 construction machines,” said Ramić.

He emphasized the that Euro – Asphalt Ltd. reduced working hours from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. due to the high temperatures, and agreed with the workers to make breaks more often during the working hours.
