Each European Car has a Part that was produced in BiH

Today, we have the situation that there is no manufacturer of European cars that does not incorporate at least a part that was produced in BiH, whether that part is made of plastic, metal, aluminium, etc, as stated by the President of the Chamber of Commerce of the FBiH, Mirsad Jasarspahic.

According to his words, the automotive industry is a large integrating factor for the industry of BiH, due to the fact that it gathers companies that can be potential subcontractors.

While working on the development of the automotive industry, an office was opened within the Innovation Campus Wolfsburg AG last year.

“The aim of this activity is to secure conditions for the intensive and institutional presence of representatives of the Automotive Industry Group of the Chamber of Commerce of the FBiH through partnership relation with the Innovation Campus of Wolfsburg AG and with the aim of creating preconditions for a significant participation of BH automobile producers in Volkswagen as well as other German car manufacturers,” noted Jasarspahic.

Preparations for the Intern Fair of Volkswagen producers will take place in this office, and the fair will be held in October this year.

“Group booth of BiH at the fair has already been reserved, and therefore we believe that all of our activities will give strong incentive to BiH companies that are engaged in the sector of automotive industry, as well as companies that are dealing with similar production, in order for them to enter the automotive industry. We have to be at the source, and when it comes to the automotive industry, it is Germany,” stated Jasarspahic.
