The ministries of foreign affairs and heads of states of members of the EU have to be more engaged in solving the problems of B&H, one of the amendments put forward by Doris Pack, a German member of the European Parliament, writes Dnevni Avaz.
With this, Pack filed one more amendment that proposes to form a B&H Supreme Court, ‘’which is in line with the views of the Venice Commission’’.
Both of these two amendments received support by parliamentary groups, as well as the Christian Democratic Union, of which Pack is a part, and which is the largest parliamentary group in the European Parliament, so one more political group. Such amendments were designated as a ‘compromise’.
Thus, the chance to vote tomorrow on the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament amendments and accept instruction in the parliamentary procedure significantly increased. The European Parliament is expected to vote on the resolution on B&H by the middle of next month.
There will also be the compromise amendment that says that Dayton is dysfunctional and to call on B&H governments on a comprehensive amendment of the Constitution.
