In the framework of the project “Technical Help to Support Tourism Industry in BiH”, which is financed by the EU, the Memorandum on Understanding of the apprentice scheme between the projects, hotel ‘’Bristol’’ and high schools from Sarajevo and East Sarajevo.

The apprentice scheme is a chance for students to gain new skills and to strengthen their capacities from schools that have tourism and hospitality in their classes, which would allow them to gain a competitive edge in the labor market within the BiH tourism industry.

13 students from the hospitality and tourism school from Sarajevo and the high school 28 June from Eastern Sarajevo will have the chance to work under the supervision of staff members of hotel ‘’Bristol’’.

This education-based work will help them recognize the skills and knowledge that are necessary for them in tourism and hospitality.

The training programs have been developed under the project component ‘’Development of Human Resources’’, which have until now included more than 200 students from the private and public sector in the tourism industry in BiH.

The project ‘’Technical Help for the Support of the Tourism Industry in BiH” is financed by the EU through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance’ (IPA) in the amount of 1.9 million euros.
