EXBS Program of the U.S. Government donated a vehicle to Bosnian Border Police

As part of the continuous cooperation and support in the work and development of Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on July 29th this year, the handover of the donation of the Export Control and Border Security Program (EXBS Program) of the United States Government to Bosnian Border Police was organized. An off-road vehicle was donated, which will be used by BP BiH Support and Control Units.

Director of BP BiH Zoran Galic took over the keys of the vehicle, handed by the coordinator of the EXBS Program for BiH and Serbia. On this occasion, Director Galic thanked for the donated vehicle, which will greatly help improve the capacity of the officers of this police agency who are facing the challenges of the migrant crisis.

‘Since the establishment of BP BiH, the United States Government has supported its development of with the aim of operatively strengthening this police agency. In addition to this, including previously donated vehicles, the U.S. Government has so far donated specialist equipment worth almost 13 million BAM, and organized a series of trainings for BP BiH police officers’, said Director Galic.
