Art cinema Kriterion prepared a very interesting week. After the media turmoil and the controversy related to the movie „The cannon was hot“, all those who wish to find out more, can watch the movie this Thursday, January 15th at Kriterion at 20:00 o’clock.
The movie made upon the novel by Vladimir Kecmanović tells a story about a young boy who is growing up in the besieged Sarajevo at the beggining of the 90s. A shell coming from the hill kills his parents while he is only ten years old during the siege in 1994. The boys stops talking. His neigbour takes care of him and treats him like her own son but he soon starts to ruin himself while death and suffering slowly become an ordinary part of his days.
On January 17th Kriterion will host the artist Andrea Tešanović within the mini-tour (Sarajevo – Tuzla) and her exhibition „дух сарајева“ along with the group of artists ‘Elektrana’ from Novi Sad who will perform their ‘Neon Nacht’ project and enrich that way musically and visually this spectacular event.
