Exhibition in Ars Aevi: How Kids see contemporary Art?

ars_aevi_djeca_izlozba01Answer to this question was given at the unusual and interesting exhibition that was opened on September 28 in the art depot Ars Aevi.

Children from Bloom School, together with their art teacher Claire Dupont and under patronage of the Director and Coordinator of the twenty-year-long development of the project Ars Aevi, Enver Hadžiomerspahić, participated in a series of workshops held in Ars Aevi, led by a group of international students from non-profit organization AIESEC.

Together they explored the museum in which the most important works of international artists are displayed; children were encouraged to carefully observe the works, they participated in quizzes where they learned more about contemporary art and the collection Ars Aevi, and they were invited to make art by doing collages that were displayed at the exhibition.

This was an excellent opportunity for kids to become artists for a day and feel happiness when they see their works exhibited within the collection Ars Aevi, next to works by some of the best artists in the world.

Bloom School is full of enthusiastic students who are willing to learn. The school is based on the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori; principles which provide a learning context that appreciates moderate development of students: intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual.
