photography‘Dark Side of the Body’ is the name of the exhibition of the young artist from Sarajevo Emina Huskić which will be opened on 30 April in Gallery of Contemporary Arts ‘Java’ in Sarajevo, reports Fena.

‘Dark Side of the Body’ is the exhibition of photos in which the treatment towards human body is done in combination of light and photography.

The work is based on dualism by creating specific tensions between realistic and symbolic, acceptable and repulsive.

The name of the exhibition ‘Dark Side of the Body’ hints the existence of the other, light side of the body, where we have the game of turning on and off logical binary oppositions.

Emina Huskić graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2011, and she’s one of the founders of the first professional BiH bodypaint group ‘Colour Crew’ who presented itself at the Festival of Contemporary Arts in Split.

This year, she had an exhibition in Sarajevo, and last year she participated in the festival in Belgrade.
