BKC“Bosna/Okovi” is the title of the exhibition of art works of the Bosnian painter living in Netherlands Enver Buzo and artist from Sarajevo Mak Hubjer. The exhibition will be open on August 25th  in the Bosnian cultural centre (BKC) in Sarajevo.

As Mak Hubjer said for the Fena Agency,  this is Buzo’s first exhibition in Sarajevo which will content around 40 oils on canvas.

“Buzo tends to paint an idyllic memory of Bosnia, her landscapes and customs. All his works are inspired with patriotism, tradition and nostalgia.” – said Hubjer.

Hubjer will present the concept “Okovi” (“Chains”), work in progress he is been doing for the last two years.

“I began to work on this concept on November 25th last year and continued to do it in July in Srebrenica, and on Monday I will present it in my town. We want to show a contrast made in this country in a short period by presenting Buzo’s idyllic past and my view of the present.”- said Hubjer.
