Bojan_StojicicExhibition of Bojan Stojčić will open on Friday 11 April, at the Sarajevo Gallery “Java”.

The author wrote that his exhibition “Između crteža i pisma” (between the drawing and letters) is based on mutual intertwining of drawings and letters, or pictures and words.

This exhibition consists of drawings from the cycle “Razgovor sa Goyom”. This cycle is in fact the interpretation drawing of the story of Ivo Andrić on format 100x100cm.

In this short story, through an imaginary conversation with the great Spanish painter Goya, Andrić reflects on the basic ideas of creation and art in general.

Drawings of a smaller format will be presented at the exhibition as well.

The third part of the exhibition consists of several clear “written” works, haiku printed on paper with the same technique as drawings, in ink, which examines the relationship of visual presentations and written narratives.
