Exhibition of Japanese Calligraphy in Sarajevo

japan_izlozba_kaligrafijaThe University of Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in B&H and the Japanese Foundation, organized an exhibition of Japanese calligraphy, which will be officially opened on Tuesday, 21 January at the Economics Faculty in Sarajevo.

Calligraphic works of students from the University of Sarajevo who are attending Japanese language classes will participate, which was organized by the University of Sarajevo in the academic year 2013/2014.

At the opening ceremony, there will be a performance by students of the Music Academy of Sarajevo: Gerarde Grisey – ‘Charme’, composition for solo clarinet by students of fourth year, Branka Milkota, in the class of professor Vedran Tuca, while the Ambassador of Japan Hideo Yamazaki will give out awards to the best works.

The exhibition will be open until 27 January.
