Exhibition of Nebojša Šerić Shoba: “From Out to Nowhere”

galerija javaThe Gallery of Contemporary Arts ‘Java’ on Saturday, 17th August starting at 18 am, will open the exhibition of Nebojsa Šerić Shoba “From Out to Nowhere”.

Shoba was born in Sarajevo in 1968, where he attended the School of Applied Arts in the period from 1983 to 1987, and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 1992. He received his MA in 2002 at the Riiks academy in Amsterdam.

He has exhibited in numerous museums and galleries around the world, including the Museum of Modern Arts in Paris, France; Jeu de Paume, Paris, Kunsthalle Bern, Switzerland; Deutsches Hygiene Museum, Dresden, Germany, De Appel, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Stockholm Museum of Modern Art, Sweden, Creative Time, New York, Exit Art, New York; Kunst museum, Bochum, Germany, National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, 50th Venice Biennale (2003), Italy, MASS MoCA, North Adams, Massachusetts, and MoMA PS1 , Museum of Modern Arts New York.

Shoba currently lives and works in New York.
