izlozba2On Monday, the 6th of July 6 at 7 pm, at the Sarajevo City Hall, the exhibition “Srebrenica path of hell” by Ahmet Bajrić Blicko will be officially opened.

The exhibition represents contribution of the author towards the marking of the 20th anniversary of Srebrenica genocide. Its patron, the Mayor of Sarajevo, Ivo Komšić, will open the exhibition and it will be available for the visitors until the 25th of July.

At the same time, the exhibition of photographs “Srebrenica path of hell” will be opened from the 1st to the 21st of July this year in Belgrade.

Ahmet Bajrić Blicko is B&H photojournalist who is professionally involved with photography for more than 30 years. His photographs have been published in all major national newspapers, as well as in Europe and all around the world in printed and electronic forms.

Among others, he is known as the only author who exclusively recorded photos of Srebrenica survivors exiting the “march of death”, in July 1995 on the territory controlled by Bosnian troops near Sapna and Nezuk, which have been published in many international newspapers, journals and books as the true illustration of the horrifying proportions of the Srebrenica genocide.

Bajrić was consistently and stubbornly continued to monitor all the important events related to Srebrenica in the past 20 years after the genocide and has made up an archive containing thousands of photos. The Photomonography “Srebrenica 1995-2015 time hell” is in the process of preparation. It will be promoted after the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.
