‘Under the Sky of Herzegovina’ is the name of exhibition that has opened last night in the Centre of Culture in Mostar, and the author of the exhibition is Alija Šunja.
Šunje is one of the most famous BiH mountaineers, who took photos of all natural riches around Mostar in order to show the beauty of mountains of Herzegovina to common people.
After several years and many kilometres, Šunje, devided to make this exhibition in order to incite younger generations to start with mountaineering.
Alija Šunje said to Bljesak.info that love for photography was born very long time ago, and because not everyone is able to go and see natural beauties of mountains, he took photos in order to show them.
Šunje has photos from the entire BiH, and this exhibition will show only a small part of natural beauties of Herzegovina. The author hopes that similar exhibitions will be held in time to come.
