Exhibition of Postage Stamps of B&H Opened in Brussels

postanske_markeAn exhibition of postage stamps of all three postal operators in B&H is open at the B&H Mission to the EU in Brussels.

The Head of the B&H Mission to the EU Ambassador Igor Davidović said in a welcoming speech that the postage stamp is a symbol of communication and connectivity, and that B&H is one of the 192 countries that is a member of the World Postal Union.

He pointed out that the exhibition of postage stamps from B&H is one of the adequate and desirable ways to present ethnological, archeological and cultural treasures of B&H, which is not well known in the world.

The exhibited pieces are for the most part postage stamps from B&H that won awards at world professional championships in different categories. The exhibition will be open to the public until 10 February, announced the Press Office of the B&H Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
