On 6 May, Monday, an exhibition ‘Style of Life’ by Amila Smajović-Pozder will be opened in Collegium Artisticum gallery on the occasion of ‘Days of Sarajevo Canton’, reports radiosarajevo.ba
She explores the artistic value of Bosnian rugs and manners of applying these values to modern design. Through numerous exhibitions, workshops and lectures, she intended to draw attention on the significance of tradition.
The exhibition encompasses the selection of works of five cycles of her artistic work, from 1995 until today: State Amila, Made in BiH, Safety Zone, Poetics of the Pattern, Style of Life.
She was awarded the Grand Prix of BiH Association of Artists for her collection ‘Style of Life’.
The exhibition will be opened until 20 May, and the visitors will be able to see it from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., said Collegium Artistiscum.
