izlozbaGallery “Java” presents the artist Lea Jerlagić with the graphic exhibition titled “Synesthesia – From Dance to Print “. The exhibition will open on Saturday, 15 February at 19.00.

An independent dance group Koreokret, the author of the exhibition is a member of this group, will open the exhibition.

Lea Jerlagić was born in 1984 in Sarajevo, where her art education began, as a dancer and as a graphic artist. She received a scholarship from the Chinese government in 2007 and spent two years in China, where she learned Chinese and the Chinese technique of woodcut. After she returned to Sarajevo, she graduated from the Academy of Arts- Department of Graphics and later finished her MA at the same institution. She has been involved in dance since 2005, and currently is a member of the independent group Koreokret, established in 2014. This is a dance project, for lovers of dance and movement, dedicated to exploring different ways in which the body produces an art piece. The group is a fusion of different educations, interests and sensibilities and consists of Lea Jerlagić, Elma Selman, Victoria Krajina, Sanela Krsmanović and Michelle Aždajić. This group exists for several years, acting as members of Tanzelarije (organization for promotion of development and contemporary dance in B&H) and later as members of Mess Dance Company.
