Exhibition of war photographs and flags of the First Corps of the Army of the Republic of BiH was opened last night in the Memorial Center Novo Sarajevo, within the marking of the 24st anniversary of the First Renowned 111th Knight Brigade Sarajevo.

Within the exhibition, a history class for students of elementary schools from Novo Sarajevo was also held.

While opening the exhibition, Mayor of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo Nedžad Koldžo said that it is necessary that children see exhibitions like that because those who experienced thee events remember them very well.

“Unfortunately, our educational system as it is now does not allow you to learn about this in schools and that is why we are taking advantage of every opportunity to convey that truth to you,” said Koldžo.

Koldžo added that the First Renowned 111th Knight Brigade Sarajevo was one of the best units in the entire Army of RBiH according to success in battles and liberated territory.

It is planned that all students of elementary schools from Novo Sarajevo visit the exhibition.
