Citizens of BiH to travel without Visa to the People’s Republic of China

Member of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Covic, met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to BiH, Chen Bo.

At the beginning of the meeting was noted that relations between these two countries are very good. They discussed the improvement of relations, especially in the field of cultural and economic cooperation, as well as joint infrastructure projects and the increase of Chinese direct investment in the economy of BiH, especially within the “16 + 1” initiative.

Covic and Ambassador Bo noted that this meeting is very important, and the Agreement on Visa Abolishment for holders of regular passports entered into force. They also noted that this will definitely increase the number of visits of citizens of BiH to China, with a special focus on the establishment of  contacts in the field of trade and economy.

The Ambassador thanked the member of the Presidency of BiH for his hard work and the efforts that he invested to realize this agreement.

They expressed mutual readiness for further strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries at the end of the meeting, as announced by the Presidency of BiH.
