What are the most requested Occupations in BiH?

The analysis of labour market for the year of 2017 and the first three months of 2018 shows the trend of increase of the number vacancies. Moreover, the recorded increase in 2017 was 14 % and 20 % in 2018 when it comes to job ads, and when it comes to workplaces, 1 % in 2017  and 35 % in the first quarter of 2018.

More than one third of ads on the portal “Posao.ba” offers employment in Sarajevo, and it is followed by Banja Luka, Tuzla, Mostar and Zenica. When it comes to abroad vacancies, they were advertised in 5 % of ads, in 2017 in 5.5 %, and in 10 % in the first quarter of 2018.

Top 10 most requested occupations in the year of 2018 were following:

  1. Call agent
  2. Worker in the production
  3. Driver
  4. Waiter
  5. Commercial worker
  6. Trader
  7. Chef
  8. Software Developer
  9. Installation worker
  10. Chambermaid
