Serb Cetnik Gathering cancelled in Visegrad

The Ravna Gora Chetnik movement canceled the mass gathering in Visegrad, which was scheduled for Sunday because, as they pointed out in a letter to members, they suffered great media pressure.
In the letter to their members, they cite the new and deteriorating situation in the world and the region, as well as the increased presence of EUFOR forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“There is a lot of pressure from foreign and domestic factors from the federal part of BiH, media houses from FBiH on our organization, we must be smart and wise! The order of the movement’s leadership is that everyone adheres to the above statement,” the letter reads.

Last year, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina acquitted members of the Ravna Gora Chetnik Movement of accusations of spreading hatred.

At their gathering this year, many warned that it could cause a security problem, and as a counter-gathering, members of the “Faith, People, State” movement had also announced their arrival in Visegrad.
