After the exhumation was completed, the remains were found at the Greda site, which will be sent for forensic medical processing and identification. The exhumation process will continue today at the nearby location of Susnjari.

The remains of a total of 5 persons were found at an exhumation carried out at the Greda site in Sanski Most, which was coordinated by an investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes on the order of the acting prosecutor from the Special Department for War Crimes.

According to preliminary information, these are victims of Serbian nationality who disappeared in the fall of 1995. After the completion of work at this location, the remains will be sent for further forensic processing and identification through DNA analysis, and the exhumation will be continued at the nearby site of Susnjari, a few hundred meters from this location. The exhumation process involves representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons (INO BiH), a forensic doctor, police officers of the Una Sana Canton Ministry of the Interior who secure the location, as well as the necessary workers and machinery.

Investigators and professional staff of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH participate almost daily in the processes of exhumations and search for missing persons in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
