Exhumation Process completed near Konjic

In the locality Duboko Valje-Ljuta in the municipality of Konjic, the exhumation process was completed during which the remains of a victim of the past war were found.

“The found remains will be transferred to the City Cemetery “Miljevići” in East Sarajevo, where forensic medical processing will be performed, i.e. determining the cause of death and taking bone samples in order to determine the identity of the victim through DNA analysis,” announced the BiH Prosecutor’s Office.

The exhumation was carried out by order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ICMP International Commission for the Search for Missing Persons, a forensic medical expert, as well as police officers from the Konjic PU, who secured the location, participated.
