Mobile Services Prices bportal.baBiH and Ukraine are the only countries that still do not have a 4G network, which is the reason why the Minister of Communications and Transport Ismir Jusko held a special meeting with leaders of telecom operators in BiH.

The main topic of the meeting was the adoption of Policy for Sector of Electronic Communications for the period 2017-2021, with special emphasis on the network of the 4th generation, which is still pending.

Minister Jusko said that the time is a resource that we do not have and that they should provide an even faster way of communicating via the Internet to our citizens.

“RAK can give only six months of testing of 4G technology to telecom operators, with no possibility of extension until they obtain a permanent permission,” explained Director of RAK at the meeting.

Some of the proposals from the meeting were to grant telecom operators temporary or permanent license for testing and release of 4G networks on the already existing frequency 1800 by the decision of the Council of Ministers of BiH, and such a proposal was supported by all participants of the meeting.
