With the drop in temperature in recent days, the expected increase in natural gas consumption has also occurred, the public company Sarajevogas confirmed for FENA.

Yesterday, when the average air temperature was -5.8 degrees C, consumption amounted to 1,063,689 Sm3, and on the same date last month, at an average air temperature of 3.7 degrees C, 593,640 Sm3 were consumed.

Sarajevogas notes that gas consumption is in accordance with the plan and the average air temperature and that no extreme increase was recorded.

By the decision of the Government of FBiH as of January 12, the price of natural gas for the first quarter of 2023 was reduced by 9.6 percent compared to the price from the previous, fourth quarter of 2022.

The wholesale price of natural gas for distribution companies in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, starting from January 1, 2023, is 990 KM/1,000 Sm3, i.e. 0.990 KM/Sm3.
